GradSteps Training Sessions at UM Libraries

The University of Manitoba Libraries is pleased to offer GradSteps training sessions. GradSteps is intended to help graduate students with their education and offer skills and knowledge transferable to future workplaces.

For the Fall 2017 term, the Neil John Maclean Health Sciences Library will offer the following sessions: “Research Essentials,” “Managing Your References with Mendeley,” and “Keeping Current, Keeping Alert.”

  • Keeping Current, Keeping Alert
    December 5, 2017, 12:00PM – 1:00PM
    Neil John Maclean Health Sciences Library, Rm. 232 (Ross Computer Lab)
    Learn strategies to keep up with new and relevant research. Learn how to use Google Alert, saved searches in various research databases, citation alerts to monitor your citations, Journal Table of Contents alerts and BrowZine to find journals and read articles on your iPad or tablet. This session focuses on tools of interest to those in the health sciences.
